The Creamery is the oldest continually operated ice-cream shop in downtown Alexandria. Founded in 1984 by Charlie and Lynne Lindsey, it remains to this day family owned. Our passion and cherished tradition for treating you to quality desserts continues. We will delight you with our signature handcrafted, small batch, old fashioned ice-cream, custards and other tasty treats. Our mission is to bring joy to all our customers.

Our ice-cream and frozen custards are handmade each day with the highest quality local ingredients to ensure satisfying your senses and putting a smile on your face. We regularly offer 32 beloved flavors of ice-cream. We are especially proud of our Southern regional favorites such as Orange Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon Custard and Banana Pudding. We also have oldies but goodies such as Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry, or bestsellers like Cookie Dough and Caramel Turtle Fudge.
